What The World Eats

I followed a really cool link from Nina Yiamsamatha on Twitter yesterday. It lead to a series of photographs on the Time Magazine website, of a weekly shop for an average family in various countries around the world. A simple idea, yet a powerful way to highlight the differences between counties & cultures and the huge disparity in the costs associated with a weekly grocery shop! There’s a whole series of photo streams on the site, one that certainly rings through to me is the set of the London standstill after the heavy snow dump a few weeks ago.
