Optimists will say it’s half full
Pessimists will say it’s half empty
Whether you’re an optimist or a pessimist, it makes no difference, you still have half a glass, and that’s all you’ll ever have, unless you take action to change things. If you’re not going to do anything about filling it, stop fooling yourself, as it’s time to get a glass that’s half the size, as a glass that is full to the brim is always better than one half full or half empty.
So next time someone asks you whether your glass is half empty or half full, be an opportunist… ask them for a top up!
