{"id":2386,"date":"2011-08-05T13:58:53","date_gmt":"2011-08-05T13:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.brendanmitchell.com\/?p=2386"},"modified":"2011-08-05T13:58:53","modified_gmt":"2011-08-05T13:58:53","slug":"youre-nicked","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.brendanmitchell.com\/?p=2386","title":{"rendered":"You&#8217;re Nicked!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday <a title=\"Brand Shandy on Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/brandshandy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@brandshandy<\/a> nicked my post about the Gulp Stop Motion Animation (their words not mine!) <em>&#8220;Gulp stop-animation shot with a Nokia N8:\u00a0<a title=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/pYYmG-k7\" href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/8Yolrau\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/t.co\/8Yolrau<\/a>\u00a0original article via\u00a0<a title=\"Brendan Mitchell on Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/brendanmitchell\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">@brendanmitchell<\/a>\u00a0(but we nicked it for BS)&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Of course they didn&#8217;t actually nick anything, they stumbled across my tweet, clicked the link, thought, &#8220;Oow that&#8217;s nice, worthy of our own blog&#8221;, and simply quoted me as a source, to which I say Thank You Very Much (in my best Elvis Presley impersonation)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m all for being as open as possible, I&#8217;ve written about it numerous times, (<a title=\"Dirty Laundry\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.brendanmitchell.com\/dirty-laundry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dirty Laundry<\/a>, <a title=\"The 3 T's Rule\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.brendanmitchell.com\/the-3-t-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The 3 T&#8217;s Rule<\/a>) plus of course there&#8217;s Bernd&#8217;s Inspired by icon\u00a0<a title=\"Inspired Idea\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.brendanmitchell.com\/an-inspired-idea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">An Inspired Idea<\/a> &#8230; but I must admit that in this instant I failed myself, as I forgot to mention my source!
