Since then it&#8217;s gone from strength to strength, I&#8217;ve even split it into 5 plant pots, as it was growing so fast!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m at a cross roads again in my life, nothing too serious&#8230; but when I looked at that plant this morning sitting on my shelf,\u00a0\u00a0I know it&#8217;s something I can overcome and sort out, I just need to focus&#8230; as the saying goes, &#8220;If you can&#8217;t change your fate, change your attitude&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/brendanmitchell.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/crossroads1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1333\" title=\"crossroads\" src=\"http:\/\/brendanmitchell.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/crossroads1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oh and if anyone knows what this plant is called, please let me know as it&#8217;s a complete mystery to me&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE: thanks to Jose pointing me in the right direction I have now tracked it down as <a title=\"Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oxalis_triangularis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">oxalis triangularis<\/a> there&#8217;s even a timelapse video showing how the leaves open and close everyday<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>18 months ago I posted a blog about a small red plant that miraculously came back from the dead after I&#8217;d given up on it and thrown it away.
