I don’t wish to jump on Seth’s bandwagon here, but his blog this morning is right on the money (when isn’t it, I hear you ask!?).
As I’ve said before, eyeballs don’t mean a thing, if you can’t back them it up. If your campaign is viral, great, but if your business isn’t as well then the campaign was pointless. You want people talking about how good your product is, not how good your viral campaign was!? A campaign can give your product & service exposure, but it can’t make your business a success, only your customers can do that.
